Hushpuppi: Protesters storm US Embassy, demand arrest of Atiku and Dino Melaye (Photos)

Nigerian Protesters has taken to the US Embassy Abuja, requesting investigation into the link between ex-Vice President, Atiku AbubakarTimi FrankDino Melaye and some Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftains with Raymond Abbas Igbalode, a.k.a Hushpuppi.

The group, under the protection of Concerned Citizens Forum (CCF), was seen in their large numbers as they held placards demanding for the arrest of Atiku, Melaye and other PDP members linked to the scammer.

The placards read:

Say No to fraud, Interpol act now”, Interpol act and arrest Dino Melaye”, “Show me your friend and I will tell you who you are”, “FBI should investigate Atiku Abubakar,” and others.

The protesters also submitted a letter to the US Ambassador and the Federal Bureau of Investigation demanding for a thorough investigation of Hushpuppi’s political allies in the PDP.

This is came after the All Progressives Congress (APC) had alleged “criminal conspiracy linking the top PDP members to Hushpuppi.

The letter submitted by the protesters was dully signed by Comrade Adamu Kabir Matazu.

In the letter, Matazu request that the US investigate the link between top PDP Chieftains and Hushpuppi.

The protesters has revealed that Atiku Abubakar’s frequent trips to Dubai before the 2019 presidential elections may be connected to Hushpuppi.

They request the US to go after Atiku, Dino Melaye, Timi Frank and other PDP stalwarts who through their associations with Hushpuppi may have helped to gear up the crime.

And Bukola Saraki, Atiku and Dino has denied having any connection to Hushpuppi last weekend .

Atiku described the allegations as mischievous and an attempt at political blackmail by the APC, stating that the picture with Hushpuppi was not a meeting.
