EPL: Man Utd receive advice on striker to sign instead of Mandzukic

Ex Manchester United star, Paul Ince has plead the club to bring back striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic in January transfer window and abandon their pursuit for Juventus forward, Mario Mandzukic.

Manchester United are closing in on a deal to sign Juventus striker, Mario Mandzukic in January.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are confident that a transfer fee of £9million will be accepted by the Serie A champions, who are desperate to sell the Croatian veteran.

Mandzukic is expected to sign an 18-month contract until the summer of 2021 and would earn a salary of £4.4m a year at Old Trafford but Ince believes the Red Devils would be better served re-signing Ibrahimovic.

Speaking ahead of Manchester United’s Premier League clash against Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon, Ince told Paddy Power: “Zlatan Ibrahimovic seemed to tease going back to Spain, then he’s been linked with staying in the MLS, and even Perth Glory, source Daily post
